Grains

Today as it did at its opening in 1878, Penny Newman Grain serves as a link between San Joaquin Valley grain farmers and the consumers of their products. Penny Newman uses its global trading presence and extensive transportation capabilities to expand and develop new markets for California grain products.

Penny Newman conducts grain export and import operations through its bulk cargo terminal at the Port of Stockton, as well as containerized exports through the ports of Oakland and Los Angeles. Grain is warehoused at and shipped domestically by rail and truck from Penny Newman facilities in Stockton, Fresno and Bakersfield.
